Airport Codes gives every major airport a single, permanent page: what its code stands for, where it is (coordinates, elevation), how many runways it has, which timezone it lives in, and what the weather is doing right now, translated from coded METAR reports into plain sentences.

Weather data

Live conditions come from the public METAR API of NOAA's aviationweather.gov. We fetch each airport's latest report on a slow shared schedule (every 30 minutes, one batched request) and decode it locally. Raw reports are shown alongside the translation so nothing is lost.
